Portraits highlighting stadium workers behind the scenes at Rogers Centre. During Toronto Blue Jays gamedays, their friendly service goes a long way in adding to the overall fan experience.

This photo series is intended to shine a light on those in the concourse and in the stands whose tireless efforts often go underappreciated in comparison to the larger-than-life figures on the baseball field. It was heartwarming hearing their stories, dreams, and sometimes passionate opinions on the Jays’ chances in the playoff race.

The magic of going to a baseball game begins even before the first pitch. It’s that moment of buying peanuts and cracker jack from the concession. And it’s the smiles of the stadium workers as they’re right there with you root, root, rooting for the home team.
